CDT-ACM Cork Summer Retreat 2023
The week consisted of many activities including research presentations, poster session, industrial site visit and off-site team building
The CDT-ACM organised a summer retreat in Cork which took place in June 2023. The programme included an industrial site-visit and factory tour of Depuy Synthes, grant writing and career path seminars, EDI training, team building exercises, and scientific research presentations.
Elwin HunterStudying my PhD as part of the ACM CDT not only provided me with valuable training courses and workshops on characterisation techniques, but also regular academic seminars, team activities, and discussions to help expand my interests, both inside and outside of research.
