Grant awarded for a new podcast

CDT students Jennifer Hack and Rebecca Shutt along with UCL student Drasti Patel  recently won a grant for £500 from the Institute of Physics London and South East Branch to create a Podcast called “Unbalanced”, which will be exploring gender and intersectional imbalances in the STEM field and what we can do about it. The project will be running  from 1^st July 2020 to 1^st July 2021. Podcasts links will be uploaded on our twitter account.

Studying my PhD as part of the ACM CDT not only provided me with valuable training courses and workshops on characterisation techniques, but also regular academic seminars, team activities, and discussions to help expand my interests, both inside and outside of research.
