Congratulations to CDT-ACM students Nadir Basma and Mohamed Koronfel who have passed their final vivas and been awarded their PhDs.
Mohamed is a student at Imperial College and presented his research on ‘understanding the in-vivo reactivity of orthopaedic implants’. Nadir is a student at UCL and his PhD is entitled ‘Ordering in ‘giant’ nancarbon polyelectrolytes and nanocomposites’.
Well done to both Mohamed and Nadir. We wish them both the best of luck in their future careers

Elwin HunterStudying my PhD as part of the ACM CDT not only provided me with valuable training courses and workshops on characterisation techniques, but also regular academic seminars, team activities, and discussions to help expand my interests, both inside and outside of research.
