Congratulations to CDT-ACM students Nadir Basma and Mohamed Koronfel who have passed their final vivas and been awarded their PhDs.

Mohamed is a student at Imperial College and presented his research on ‘understanding the in-vivo reactivity of orthopaedic implants’. Nadir is a student at UCL and his PhD is entitled ‘Ordering in ‘giant’ nancarbon polyelectrolytes and nanocomposites’.

Well done to both Mohamed and Nadir. We wish them both the best of luck in their future careers

Being part of the CDT-ACM was an all-round fantastic experience; I not only received great training in a range of advanced characterisation techniques, but I also made strong links with industry and strong bonds with my cohort which have both led to fruitful collaborations.
