New Students attend residential course at Cumberland Lodge

New CDT-ACM students attended a three-day residential course at Cumberland Lodge in Windsor Great Park, London which aimed to introduce them to life as a PhD student. They joined PhD students from the Department of Electronic & Elec­trical Engineering at UCL to attend lectures on ethics, business and enterprise, and funding opportunities, and took part in presentation, leadership and teambuilding exercises, including building air-pressure powered cars from K’Nex plastic toys!
