Donagh Mc Ginley
University College London
Research Project: Functional devices from 2D Borophene Oxide.
Supervisors: Dr. Adam Clancy (UCL), Prof. Camille Petit (ICL)
Donagh completed his undergraduate degree at Trinity College Dublin, working in Prof. Yurii Gun’ko’s group on water purification membranes from oxidised boron nitride and layered double hydroxides. He is now a PhD candidate in Adam Clancy’s group at UCL, working on ‘Functional Devices from 2D Borophene Oxide’.
The CDT gave me the opportunity to meet people working in different fields and gain experience in a wide range of characterisation techniques that I could apply to my research.
