Biography

Research Project: Water-splitting for renewable hydrogen energy sources: a molecular level approach
Supervisors: James Durrant (ICL); Prof Tracey Clarke (UCL)

Rose graduated from Imperial College London with an MSci in Chemistry, studying charge carrier dynamics in non-fullerene acceptors for organic solar cells. She is now applying operando time resolved Raman and transient absorption spectroscopies to study the (photo)electrocatalysis of water splitting.

Studying my PhD as part of the ACM CDT not only provided me with valuable training courses and workshops on characterisation techniques, but also regular academic seminars, team activities, and discussions to help expand my interests, both inside and outside of research.
