Research Project: Advanced Measurement and Modelling of Polymer Permeability in Carbon Capture & Storage

Louis graduated with an MEng in Chemical Engineering from University College London in 2021. In his master’s project, he investigated the phase transition in multi-component systems using molecular simulations. His PhD in Chemical Engineering at Imperial College London uses advanced experiments and models to measure, and ultimately predict, the permeation of CO2 in engineering polymers. The knowledge obtained will contribute to the design of new polymer structures that are less permeable to CO2.
