Research Project: Modelling core-electron binding energies of gas molecules on metal oxide surfaces
Supervisors: Johannes Lischner (ICL), Nicholas Harrison (ICL)
Wenxuan graduated with a BEng in Material from the University of Sheffield, followed by an MSc in Materials from Imperial College London. Her MSc project was based on hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) from graphene and water in Andrew Horsfield’s group. Her area of interest is theory and simulation of material. Her PhD project will focus on the core-electron binding energies of gas sensor devices and potential for improved application in health and environmental devices.
